Hogan's Heroes
Perhaps the funniest show ever made about fictional hilarity in a Nazi P.O.W. prison, this series focuses on Stalag 13, a camp set aside for U.S. resistance fighters and overseen by the strict but bumbling Col. Klink. Although the prisoners have an abnormal number of perks at the camp, they are constantly trying to mess with the Germans and help the Allied war effort from within.
Hogan's Heroes is a fun series for big kids to have some good clean fun. Boys especially enjoy the antics and the secret operations of the prisoners in Stalag 13.

Colonel Hogan and his team routinely deceive the Germans in their efforts to serve the war resistance. This is why it's important for children who watch the show to be old enough to understand there are times, in a war-related situation, that honesty must be balanced with other life-saving decisions.
